my arrival on Kassandra...

my entry onto Kassandra...was marked by scorched forests and soot-blackened houses, as there had been a real fire here a few days earlier. For kilometers, the road was lined by a ghostly forest, whose smell of smoke still hung in the valleys. A few houses that stood in the middle of the forests and on the hills were so black that they set some really surreal counterpoints in the blazing sun! SPOOOKIE! 😳
So I was glad to have left that region behind me, to arrive at a quiet location, where the hundreds of cars so brutally catapulted me into reality that I first went to the beach. Reeeally big mistake 🤣 Had to "dance my way through" to the water with 50cm distance between the people lying there, drop my towel and reeeally quickly into the sea! The idea was great...the water however 50m further still at knee height...I'll cut it short, chatted with a few lifeguards who gave me the tip about the location here...so back to Frankie and another 2.5h through the sweltering heat, through mountain and valley...😅
Frankie and my location opposite the little "Loutra Church Park", first location on the first finger...

Sunset was then also beautiful too....
after the weird day my total "HIGHLIGHT"...🥰❤️🙏
